Ben Crabtree is an Arkansas attorney whose practice centers on Family Law, Criminal Defense, and Ad Litem representation. His experience includes handling sensitive cases that require careful preparation, strong communication, and a practical understanding of Arkansas law.
Ben earned his B.A. Anthropology from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas. He later obtained his J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law, Fayetteville, Arkansas. During law school, he built a strong academic foundation while gaining practical experience that prepared him for active courtroom representation and client advocacy.
Ben participated in the Law School’s Juvenile Defense Clinic as a Rule XV certified attorney, where he handled criminal trial matters involving minors from arraignment through disposition. He also assisted counsel representing multiple Capital Murder clients who were potentially affected by the United States Supreme Court’s decision in Jackson v. Hobbs, contributing to complex post-conviction review efforts.
Ben further strengthened his courtroom skills while externing at the Benton County Public Defender’s Office, representing clients as a Rule XV certified attorney. Throughout law school, he worked as a law clerk on cases involving criminal law, family law, foreclosure, and general litigation, gaining hands-on exposure to diverse legal issues and case strategies.
Ben Crabtree continues to advocate for clients across Arkansas, offering diligent representation in Family Law, Criminal Defense, and Ad Litem matters while maintaining a strong commitment to ethical practice and community involvement. Ben also served as the University of Arkansas Student Bar Association’s representative to the Arkansas Bar, where he participated on the Young Lawyers’ Section executive council of the Arkansas Bar Association. He remains active in the legal community as a member of the Benton County Bar Association and as a Board Member of the Benton County Law Library Board.
