Ben Bekel

Ben earned a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Iowa in 2007. He later received a J.D. from Drake University Law School in 2011. During law school, he achieved top marks in both Wills and Trusts and Trust Administration classes, reflecting an early dedication to the areas of law that would become central to his career. This academic foundation provided valuable insight into estate planning and trust-related matters while preparing him for the complexities of legal practice.

Ben began his legal career after graduation by practicing in Muscatine and Cedar Rapids. These early experiences allowed him to work with a broad range of legal issues while developing a strong understanding of client needs and long-term planning strategies. In 2013, he established his professional roots in the Quad Cities, where he continues to assist clients with estate planning goals, trust and probate matters, elder law concerns, and real estate transactions.

Ben Bekel is licensed to practice in both Iowa and Illinois, allowing him to assist clients on both sides of the Mississippi River. His cross-state licensure provides flexibility for individuals and families whose legal matters involve property, estates, or planning considerations that extend across state lines.
