Beatriz Azcuy

Beatriz Azcuy is a Miami real estate partner and co-managing partner with 30 years of experience in commercial property transactions. She advises financial institutions, investment banks, private equity funds, and institutional clients on acquisitions, development, management, financing, and leasing. Her practice covers multifamily housing, mixed-use projects, retail, industrial properties, infrastructure, hospitality, and entertainment venues in the United States and Latin America.

Beatriz earned her B.A. from Florida International University in 1991 and her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 1994. She also completed an Executive Leadership Program Certification at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in 2025. She is admitted in Florida, New York, Texas, and the District of Columbia. Her training supports work involving complex capital arrangements and cross-border real estate investment.

Beatriz has worked on real estate matters for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, including venue agreements. She has represented clients in hospital sale-leasebacks, resort construction financing, mezzanine lending, and industrial property acquisitions. Her broader practice includes senior and subordinate loans, equity investments, portfolio purchases, and real estate issues arising in Chapter 11 and corporate transactions.

Beatriz Azcuy received Managing Partner of the Year at the 2026 Law.com Florida Legal Awards and was named Real Estate Lawyer of the Year at the 2024 Women in Business Law Americas awards. She appeared on Forbes’ 2024 America’s Top 200 Lawyers list and has received leadership and mentoring recognition.
