About

Barry Schuster has practiced business law, real estate law, and municipal law since 1978. He represents individuals, companies, and municipalities in transactions, disputes, and court matters involving land use, property, corporate issues, and business conflicts at Schuster, Buttrey & Wing, P.A. As a trial lawyer, he has appeared before municipal boards and trial courts in New Hampshire and Vermont. His work helps clients understand risks, protect rights, and resolve legal problems. He also brings mediation experience to matters where parties need practical ways to move forward.

Barry earned a B.A. from Brown University and a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. He also pursued a year of study at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College. This education supports his work with business planning, real estate matters, municipal questions, and disputes that require both legal judgment and practical understanding of complex financial and property issues. His academic background helps him explain legal choices in clear, plain terms for clients.

Barry has handled many trials, appeals, and dispute matters during his career. He has appeared in more than thirty appeals before the Supreme Courts of New Hampshire and Vermont. His representative work includes easement enforcement, zoning appeals, franchise disputes, shareholder conflicts, building code appeals, property tax assessments, land use development appeals, timber development, boundary disputes, construction litigation, and contract disputes. These matters show broad experience in court and negotiation. He understands how local decisions can affect businesses, landowners, and public bodies.

Barry Schuster helps clients by giving clear guidance during difficult legal matters. For business clients, he assists with corporate disputes, contracts, and transactions. For property owners and developers, he addresses real estate rights, land use questions, and development issues. For municipalities, he brings experience with public boards, local rules, and court review. His long practice gives clients steady support when legal decisions affect property, operations, and community interests. He focuses on practical results, careful preparation, sound strategy, and informed decisions.
