Barry D. Adler

Barry D. Adler is the managing partner, principal, and founder of Adler Firm, PLLC in Traverse City, Michigan. He focuses his practice on workers’ compensation, personal injury, and Social Security Disability matters. Mr. Adler represents injured workers and disabled clients throughout Michigan, with a primary focus on Grand Traverse County, surrounding northern Michigan counties, and southeastern Michigan. Mr. Adler earned his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in 1979. He also received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 1975, graduating with high distinction. Mr. Adler has dedicated his legal career to representing injured clients. He later practiced in Southfield and opened his own firm in Farmington Hills in 1990. Over his career, he has helped more than 5,000 workers’ compensation claimants and successfully tried more than 200 workers’ compensation cases.

Barry D. Adler is admitted to practice in Michigan and Oregon. He is active in the State Bar of Michigan, the Michigan Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, and the Grand Traverse Bar Association. His professional work also includes writing and speaking on workers’ compensation issues, including authoring materials for the Michigan Lawyers Manual and Michigan Bar Journal.
