Barbara McGinnis is a Tennessee elder law attorney and recognized leader in life care planning. Before practicing law, Barbara spent over twenty years as a registered nurse and gerontological nurse practitioner across hospitals, clinics, long-term care, and home health settings. She earned a B.S. in Nursing from Austin Peay State University and a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University. She also earned a J.D. from Nashville School of Law. Barbara is certified by the National Elder Law Foundation as a Certified Elder Law Attorney and is accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
