Ashley N. Minton

Ashley N. Minton is a skilled attorney based in Fort Pierce, Florida, where she focuses her practice on criminal defense, appellate law, and civil litigation. A native of Fort Pierce, Ashley brings dedication and integrity to every case she handles. Before entering private practice, she gained extensive courtroom experience working with public defenders and civil courts in both California and Florida, representing clients in serious criminal and civil matters with compassion and determination.

Ashley earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she worked for the Public Defender’s Office and the Alternate Public Defender, handling cases ranging from misdemeanors to murder. She also managed record-sealing and expungement cases for indigent clients and handled landlord-tenant and small claims disputes in civil court. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Lincoln Park Academy.

After law school, Ashley returned to Fort Pierce, where she joined the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Office of the Public Defender. She represented clients charged with offenses ranging from DUI to capital crimes, including armed robbery and murder. Her work included both trial and appellate advocacy, giving her an exceptional understanding of Florida’s legal system. Her broad experience in complex litigation has earned her respect as a tenacious and knowledgeable criminal defense attorney.

Ashley N. Minton is admitted to practice before the Florida Bar and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida. She is a member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Saint Lucie County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and MENSA. In addition to her legal practice, Ashley serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Indian River State College, where she teaches law and inspires future legal professionals.
