Arthur D. Leritz

Arthur D. Leritz is a partner at Adler Giersch whose practice focuses on personal injury litigation. He represents people with serious and substantial injuries when an insurance company or at-fault party refuses to resolve a claim fairly. His work includes cases involving motor vehicle collisions, traumatic brain injuries, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, pedestrian and bicycle crashes, uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, and insurance bad faith. He prepares contested matters for trial when negotiation does not produce an appropriate resolution.

Leritz earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington in 1996 and a J.D. from Willamette University College of Law in 1999. Before entering private practice, he served in the US Navy. His legal education and earlier service experience support a disciplined approach to investigation, evidence, and courtroom preparation. He began his legal career working in insurance defense, which gave him direct exposure to how insurers assess, defend, and litigate injury claims.

Leritz uses his insurance-defense background in representing injured clients against carriers and responsible parties. His litigation work covers claims involving serious physical injuries, liability disputes, coverage questions, and the valuation of long-term losses. He evaluates medical and factual records, develops case strategy, and prepares matters for mediation, arbitration, or trial. Arthur D. Leritz combines personal injury litigation experience with prior work inside the insurance-defense system. He has participated in community efforts addressing impaired driving, including work with a Snohomish County DUI and Target Zero task force and past service connected with Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
