Armine Baltazar is a seasoned family law and collaborative attorney with over 23 years of experience guiding clients through conflict resolution with empathy and skill. Based in Los Angeles and Orange County, she offers legal services rooted in understanding and integrity, with a focus on mediation, collaborative divorce, and peacemaking.
Armine earned her Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law, where she received the American Jurisprudence Award in Constitutional Law. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and also attended California State University, Northridge, where she made the Dean’s List. She has completed extensive training in mediation, conflict resolution, and trial advocacy.
Armine is the managing partner at Hammers & Baltazar, LLP, and a respected educator in the legal community. She teaches mediation at Monterey College of Law and is a co-founder of the Los Angeles Superior Court’s HEALTHY Divorce program. Her work bridges deep legal knowledge with a human-centered approach to family transitions.
Armine is actively involved in numerous professional organizations, including the Southern California Mediation Association, Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association, and the International Association of Collaborative Professionals. She has been recognized as a Southern California Super Lawyer every year since 2010.
Committed to public service and legal education, Armine Baltazar has served as a guest lecturer at Santa Monica College and Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, and as a mediator at Loyola Law School’s Center for Conflict Resolution. She has also appeared on CBS News and the “Amicable Divorce Expert” podcast, offering expert legal insights.
