Anthony J. DePanfilis

Anthony J. DePanfilis is a Connecticut attorney and former Judge of Probate for the Norwalk Wilton District, where he served from 1997 through 2019. As founder and senior partner of his firm, DePanfilis & Vallerie, LLC, since 1977, he has provided comprehensive legal services to individuals and families. His practice includes criminal defense, real estate matters, personal injury, probate law, and mediation and arbitration. He is known for practical advice and steady courtroom advocacy.

Anthony earned his B.A. from Fairfield University and his J.D. from Georgetown University. He was admitted to practice in Connecticut in 1974 and later admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, the U.S. Supreme Court, and federal courts in New York. As a retired Probate Judge of twenty-two years, Anthony leads the firm’s estate planning and probate administration department.
