Annemarie Ficarra

Annemarie earned her Juris Doctor with high honors from Emory University School of Law in 2023. She was inducted into the Order of the Coif for graduating in the top 10% of her class and participated in the Emory Moot Court Society as both a competitor and coach in the Duberstein Bankruptcy Competition.

Annemarie holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management, magna cum laude, from Oakland University, where she also minored in Political Science and was named a Presidential Scholar. Her academic focus in HR and governance enhances her understanding of the legal challenges faced by modern employers.

During law school, Annemarie built practical, real-world legal experience in both corporate and nonprofit settings. She interned with a leading Atlanta manufacturing company, where she conducted in-depth research on corporate governance and labor law issues. She also partnered with the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta, advising nonprofit organizations on contracts, regulatory compliance, and other key operational legal matters.

Before joining Foley full-time, Annemarie served as a Summer Associate with the firm. Her blend of legal training and real-world experience allows her to approach corporate transactions with precision and a client-focused mindset.
