Ann Wilson Payseur

Ann Wilson Payseur is an experienced attorney at Hester & Payseur, PLLC, serving clients in Belmont and the surrounding North Carolina communities. Ann earned her J.D. from Charlotte School of Law, building a strong foundation in legal analysis, advocacy, and professional responsibility. During law school, she gained hands-on courtroom and community experience by interning with the Gaston County District Attorney’s Office, where she worked on criminal cases. She also served as an advocate for children through the Gaston County Guardian ad Litem program. She received her law school’s highest award for pro bono service, reflecting a deep commitment to public service early in her career.

Ann expanded her professional reach by merging her practice with Jamie Hester’s in 2015 to form Hester & Payseur, PLLC, after launching her own law practice in 2012. In family law matters, she represents spouses, parents, grandparents, and other relatives in a wide range of domestic civil actions.
