About

Ann S. Jacobs is the founder of Jacobs Injury Law and represents injured people in Milwaukee and throughout Wisconsin. Her personal injury practice includes motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, financial abuse and fraud, wrongful death, and other serious injury claims. Jacobs brings extensive trial experience to civil matters and focuses on helping clients understand their options, develop strong claims, and seek accountability for significant physical and financial harm.

Jacobs graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School after completing undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin with distinction. As an undergraduate, she received the Leon Epstein Award. Her education, together with early courtroom work, provided a strong foundation in legal analysis, advocacy, and case preparation. That background supports her ability to evaluate complex injury claims, work through disputed facts, and present a client’s position clearly in negotiations and litigation.

Jacobs spent nearly a decade as a public defender and tried dozens of cases ranging from juvenile matters to homicide charges before building a civil trial practice for injured clients. She was an original author of a chapter in the Wisconsin Juvenile Law Handbook and has since represented hundreds of personal injury clients. Her experience spans investigations, witness preparation, trial strategy, damages analysis, and the practical challenges that arise when injuries affect a client’s health, work, and family.

Ann S. Jacobs has received substantial professional recognition for plaintiff-side injury work, including Wisconsin Association for Justice Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2018 and repeated recognition by Best Lawyers and Wisconsin Super Lawyers. She has also held leadership roles within the Wisconsin Association for Justice. Jacobs combines a long trial record with a client-centered approach, using courtroom experience and careful preparation to pursue personal injury and wrongful death claims.
