Andrew P. Trevino

Andrew P. Trevino is a partner in Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP’s Milwaukee office who represents businesses, professionals, and other clients in civil litigation. Trevino handles matters involving complex torts, general casualty, consumer and class action defense, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act claims, construction issues, and appellate work. His practice also includes professional negligence, personal injury, product liability, and commercial disputes from pretrial proceedings through trial and appeal.

Trevino earned a J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 2017 and a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2013. During law school, he received CALI awards, made the Dean’s List, and was awarded the Zilber Scholarship. His legal education provided a foundation in research, advocacy, and litigation strategy that supports his work evaluating claims, preparing cases, and presenting legal issues in state and federal courts.

Trevino represents companies of different sizes as well as design and construction professionals, directors and officers, and real estate agents and brokers. His experience includes disputes involving professional negligence, consumer claims, product liability, personal injury, and the FDCPA. He works across the life of a case, helping clients assess exposure, develop a record, address procedural issues, and pursue practical litigation strategies through trial or appellate review when necessary.

Andrew P. Trevino has been recognized on the Wisconsin Super Lawyers Rising Stars list from 2019 through 2025. He also has contributed pro bono service through the Marquette Legal Clinic. Trevino brings a broad civil litigation perspective to matters involving professional services, construction, transportation, consumer claims, and tort exposure, with an emphasis on clear analysis and disciplined case preparation for clients facing contested legal issues.
