Andrew Kasnetz

Andrew Kasnetz is General Counsel at Sandberg Phoenix and an experienced commercial litigator in Clayton. His practice includes complex business disputes, class actions, construction litigation, fiduciary and trust litigation, professional liability, arbitration, and other high-stakes matters. Andrew has tried more than forty cases and argued more than twenty appeals in state and federal courts, giving clients substantial courtroom experience in disputes involving contracts, business torts, shareholders, fraud, lender liability, software, and real estate.

Andrew earned a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law after receiving a B.A. from the University of Kansas. He later clerked for Judge John M. Karns Jr., gaining direct experience with judicial analysis and court procedure. His education and clerkship support a practice that requires detailed legal research, persuasive writing, strategic discovery, and trial preparation. Since 2021, he has also served as an adjunct professor teaching Arbitration and Pretrial Litigation at the University of Missouri School of Law.

Andrew’s representative work includes major construction and surety disputes, contract and commercial claims, arbitration proceedings, professional-liability matters, and cases involving shareholder and fiduciary issues. He has handled class actions and business tort claims and has experience with appeals arising from complex trial-court records. His role as General Counsel adds an internal business perspective to his litigation practice, including attention to risk, professional responsibilities, operational concerns, and the practical effects of legal strategy on an organization.
