Andrew J. Lambert

Andrew J. Lambert is an Alaska trial attorney whose practice at Kalamarides & Lambert, focuses on criminal defense and family law. He represents adults and juveniles in state and federal criminal proceedings, handling matters involving DUI, domestic violence, drug offenses, sexual assault, sexual abuse of a minor, assault, and homicide. He also represents clients in family law cases, including contested child custody matters. Andrew attended Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska. He earned his B.A. from the University of Nebraska, where he majored in psychology and completed minors in criminal justice and sociology. He was admitted to the Alaska Bar in 1986. His academic background and long-standing admission support a legal career devoted largely to courtroom advocacy in criminal and family matters.

Andrew became an associate in 1993 and advanced to partner in 2000. Over the course of his career, he has tried numerous criminal cases involving offenses ranging from DUI and assault to sexual offenses and homicide. He has also tried many family law and child custody cases. Beyond representing clients in court, he has served as a lecturer at the Alaska Maltreatment Conference and the Alaska Public Defenders Conference.

Andrew J. Lambert has been recognized among The National Trial Lawyers’ Top 100 Trial Lawyers. His professional service includes serving as a former president of the Alaska Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and a former vice president of the Alaska Association for Justice’s Criminal Section.
