About

Andrew C. Glassman is co-chair of the Business Organizations and Finance practice at Pullman & Comley in Hartford. His practice includes corporate law, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, commercial finance, restructuring, technology and intellectual property matters, and related business counseling. He works with middle-market companies and other business clients on transactions and ongoing legal needs, including matters that involve capital structures, financing arrangements, contracts, governance, and strategic changes in ownership or operations.

Glassman earned a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1985 and served as an editor of the Connecticut Law Review. He received a B.S. from Cornell University in 1982. His legal education preceded a long corporate and commercial practice involving business organizations, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and employment-related counseling. He is admitted in Connecticut and has developed a practice that combines transactional work with continuing general counsel advice for operating companies.

Glassman routinely serves as outside general counsel to middle-market companies. His work includes mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, restructurings, supply and services agreements, material vendor contracts, loan documentation, investment banking engagements, shareholders’ rights agreements, equity structures, and employee compensation arrangements. He advises companies on the creation of special classes or series of equity and other ownership matters. These assignments require coordination of corporate governance, financing, commercial contracts, and transaction execution.

Andrew C. Glassman participates in Pullman & Comley’s alternative dispute resolution practice as a member of American Arbitration Association commercial and employment panels. Current firm materials describe more than 35 years of corporate and commercial transactional experience. Chambers USA 2026 ranks him for Corporate/M&A in Connecticut, and his current practice continues to span business and finance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, emerging companies, and related corporate counseling for clients navigating growth, financing, restructuring, and ownership changes.
