Amy L. Collins

Amy L. Collins is the founder and owner of Amy L. Collins, PC, where she provides independent third-party common benefit consulting and auditing services in multidistrict litigation and state court coordinated proceedings nationwide. She brings more than a decade of litigation experience, with most of that time focused exclusively on mass tort litigation. Her work supports lead counsel, fee committees, special masters, and courts handling complex common benefit processes.

Amy earned a J.D. from South Texas College of Law and a B.A. in Philosophy, cum laude, from Wright State University. Her education developed the analytical and organizational skills that support her work reviewing time, expenses, billing practices, and fee-allocation processes in complex litigation.

Amy advises on the design and development of common benefit submission and review systems. Her work includes drafting orders and protocols, reviewing and auditing time and expense submissions, and helping develop recommendations for fee allocation and reimbursement of common benefit expenses. She produces firm-specific and litigation-wide reports and data analyses that assist decision-makers in evaluating submissions. Her background includes work on transvaginal mesh multidistrict litigation, where she served the Fee and Cost Committee as a time and expense reviewer.
