Amy C. Allen serves as Gray Reed’s Family Law Practice Group Leader. She represents clients across the Gulf Coast in complex and emotionally charged family disputes. He handles divorce, child custody, modifications, enforcement actions, property division, premarital agreements, and adoptions with compassion and steady leadership.
Amy earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2006. She received her B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994. Her education supports a focused practice dedicated to resolving challenging family law matters with care and precision.
Amy is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She has extensive experience with high-net-worth estates, complex property valuation, and business interests. He has represented professional athletes and their spouses in divorce and premarital agreement negotiations involving substantial assets.
Amy has served as an Amicus attorney, guardian ad litem, and attorney ad litem for more than 100 children. He also handled protective orders and supervised visitation matters before law school. Her experience gives her deep insight into how family conflict affects children and long-term stability.
