Allan Ziffra

Allan Ziffra is a founding partner and president of Rue & Ziffra, a personal injury law firm serving clients in DeLand and across Central Florida. Mr. Ziffra focuses his practice on catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation. He has extensive experience handling auto accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip and fall claims, premises liability matters, bus accidents, and watercraft accidents. Clients rely on his guidance when serious injuries require careful case preparation and strong advocacy.

Mr. Ziffra earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a focus in accounting from DePaul University in 1985. He received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 1987 and later earned a Master of Laws in Taxation in 1989. His education in accounting, law, and taxation provides a strong foundation for evaluating damages, analyzing complex claims, and guiding injured clients through the legal and financial issues that follow serious accidents.

Mr. Ziffra has litigated personal injury and wrongful death cases in Florida for more than two decades. His experience includes representing individuals injured in car crashes, big truck accidents, motorcycle collisions, dog bite incidents, premises liability cases, and other serious accident matters. He has successfully represented more than 2,800 individuals and has recovered more than $100 million for clients, including significant settlements in wrongful death, automobile accident, motorcycle accident, and dog bite cases.

Allan Ziffra is admitted to practice in all Florida courts and in the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. As a founding partner of Rue & Ziffra, he helped build a firm that represents Florida residents and visitors from many different countries. Through his trial-focused personal injury practice, Mr. Ziffra provides practical guidance and dedicated representation for clients facing the lasting effects of serious injuries and preventable losses.
