Alina Pagani

Alina Pagani is Of Counsel with Degan, Blanchard & Nash in New Orleans and has more than two decades of legal experience. Her primary focus is insurance defense and coverage litigation. Her practice includes commercial litigation, property and casualty matters, professional liability, products liability, medical malpractice, transportation, workers’ compensation, and other civil defense matters. She represents clients in disputes that require close attention to policy terms, liability issues, and litigation strategy.

Alina completed her undergraduate studies at Tulane University’s Newcomb College, where she graduated with a double major in English and History. She later completed the Maritime Certificate Curriculum at Tulane University School of Law and graduated cum laude. That academic background supports her ability to evaluate written records, legal arguments, contractual language, and complicated factual issues that arise in insurance coverage and defense litigation. Her maritime coursework adds useful context for transportation-related and maritime disputes.
