Alicia Mascioli is a family law attorney who helps protect children’s well-being and guides families through difficult transitions with compassion. Alicia earned her J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law in 2013. During law school, she served as President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society and worked as a student attorney in the Child & Family Law Clinic, building practical advocacy skills in family- and child-focused matters.

Alicia’s law school work showed her commitment to helping families resolve conflicts and protect children. Through the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society, she developed skills in negotiation and problem-solving. Through the Child & Family Law Clinic, she gained hands-on experience supporting legal needs in family and child welfare settings.

Before entering private practice, Alicia served as Deputy Director of the West Virginia Supreme Court’s Juvenile Justice Commission. In that role, she helped draft legislation that was unanimously passed concerning justice-involved youth. She also contributed to major updates in child abuse and neglect codes, supporting work tied to children and families statewide.

Alicia brings a child-centered view to family law matters. Her background in juvenile justice, child abuse and neglect policy, and dispute resolution helps her guide families with care. She understands that family transitions can be stressful, so she works to provide steady support, clear direction, and thoughtful advocacy for clients.
