Alexis A. Harrington

Alexis A. Harrington is an associate attorney with WSHB based in the firm’s Boston and Providence offices. Her defense practice includes catastrophic injury, wrongful death, hospital liability, professional liability, premises liability, dram shop litigation, commercial and business litigation, medical malpractice and healthcare law, and complex tort and casualty matters. She works across all phases of litigation, helping clients address high-exposure disputes through case strategy, motion practice, hearings, and courtroom advocacy.

Alexis earned a J.D. cum laude from New England Law | Boston, an M.P.H. with honors from Boston University School of Public Health, and a B.S. in Public Health from Central Washington University. In law school, she served as Executive Note & Article Editor for the New England Law Review and as the student representative on the academic disciplinary committee. Her public-health training complements a practice that includes healthcare, hospital, medical malpractice, and professional liability disputes.

Alexis has substantial courtroom experience that includes strategic case resolution, appellate practice, dispositive motions, and hearings. She has appeared in Massachusetts District Courts and Superior Courts and before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Before joining WSHB, she practiced at a defense firm in Boston, where she worked on high-exposure, complex medical malpractice and wrongful death matters. That background supports her current work defending clients in serious injury, healthcare, liability, and commercial disputes.
