Alexandra E. Edelman is a seasoned litigator and commercial attorney with Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer PC. As a shareholder, director, treasurer, and senior vice president, she focuses her legal practice on advising credit unions, banks, financial services firms, and business clients. Her areas of concentration include commercial litigation, bankruptcy law, regulatory compliance, and financial industry operations.

Alexandra earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and holds a B.A. from Wesleyan University. She is admitted to the Bars of New York and Vermont, and she practices before the U.S. District Courts for the District of Vermont and the Northern District of New York.

Alexandra is a trusted advisor to financial institutions and businesses facing complex legal disputes and regulatory challenges. She counsels clients on bankruptcy and restructuring, corporate compliance programs, creditor rights, and regulatory risk management. Drawing on deep experience in financial services litigation and restructuring matters, she helps organizations navigate high-stakes transitions while protecting their legal and commercial interests. Alexandra also enhances industry best practices through frequent speaking engagements and thought leadership, including a co‑authored analysis for the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Alexandra is a co-chair of the Bankruptcy Law Section of the Vermont Bar Association and an active member of the legal community. She has also earned recognition from Best Lawyers in America for her work in Commercial Litigation and Corporate Law (2024–present), and was previously named a New England Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2014 to 2016.

Alexandra E. Edelman’s commitment to service extends beyond her professional practice. She has volunteered with the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic in Barre, Vermont, and serves as an ambassador for the United Way of Chittenden County. She also participates in youth outreach through the Fresh Air Fund.
