Alex Goldberg

Alex Goldberg is an associate attorney at Nochumson P.C. who focuses on land use and zoning and real estate taxation matters throughout the Philadelphia region. He works with developers, homeowners, and governmental agencies on issues that can affect the use, value, and development of property. His practice includes navigating zoning and regulatory processes, and his current work places him at the intersection of real estate planning, municipal approvals, and property tax concerns.

Alex earned a J.D. from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law and a B.S. in Public Administration from James Madison University. During law school, he served as a lead editor of the Drexel Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Board. He is admitted in Pennsylvania. His academic and advocacy experience supports the research, writing, regulatory analysis, and presentation skills required in land use and real estate tax matters.

Alex’s legal foundation includes experience with in-house counsel at a major hospital network, a judicial internship in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and clerkships with firms focused on land use and zoning. After law school, he practiced at a Center City firm on real estate matters that included land use, zoning, and real estate tax assessment appeals before joining Nochumson P.C.

He serves on the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association and is a member of the Building Industry Association of Philadelphia.
