Albert H. Manwaring IV

Albert H. Manwaring IV is a partner at Morris James LLP in Wilmington, Delaware, where he chairs the firm’s litigation department and corporate and commercial litigation group. Albert earned a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University in 1984 and a J.D., cum laude, from New England School of Law in 1992, where he worked on the New England Law Review. He later clerked for Judge Franklin S. Van Antwerpen of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. His academic and judicial experience supports analysis of disputed transactions and governance claims.

His representative matters include challenges to mergers and sales, stockholder derivative claims, proxy contests, books-and-records proceedings, and disputes involving controlling stockholders and independent directors.
