About
Addie White is a member of the Litigation Department at Saul Ewing LLP in Washington, DC. Addie maintains a general litigation practice and handles complex commercial disputes. Her work places her in matters that require careful factual development, legal research, written advocacy, and strategic case management. She brings experience from federal judicial chambers and government and nonprofit appellate settings, giving her a foundation for disputes involving detailed records, procedural questions, and issues that can develop through trial and appellate stages.
Addie earned her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School. During law school, she interned with the Appellate Section of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division and served as a judicial intern for Judge Robert J. Conrad Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. These experiences exposed her to federal litigation, appellate analysis, judicial decision-making, and the disciplined writing required to evaluate legal issues in contested matters.
Addie also served as an appellate legal intern for the Network for Victim Recovery through George Washington University Law School’s domestic violence clinic. That work involved a nonprofit organization providing pro bono appellate representation to survivors of domestic violence. Before joining Saul Ewing, she clerked for Judge C. Kailani Memmer of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia. Her clerkship strengthened her understanding of federal procedure, motion practice, evidentiary records, and the practical demands of litigation in federal court.
Addie White applies her litigation training to complex commercial disputes from Saul Ewing’s Washington office. Her background includes a federal district court clerkship, Justice Department appellate work, judicial internship experience, and pro bono appellate service. Together, these roles support a practice focused on analyzing contested legal questions, organizing complicated records, and preparing clear written arguments. Her current focus on general litigation and complex commercial disputes reflects a developing practice grounded in federal court experience and strong legal writing.
