Adam C. Eggleston

Adam C. Eggleston is a founding member of O’Brien & Eggleston PLLC. His practice focuses on criminal defense matters at both the felony and misdemeanor levels. He handles all aspects of cases, including plea negotiations, hearings, and trials, while helping clients facing serious criminal charges.

Adam earned his J.D. from Albany Law School. He also earned a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he majored in Philosophy and minored in English. His education helped prepare him for a legal career focused on criminal defense representation.

Adam has approximately seven years of experience handling criminal defense matters. His practice includes federal crimes, driving while intoxicated cases, drug crimes, sex crimes, violent crimes, weapon crimes, domestic violence crimes, theft crimes, financial crimes, white collar crimes, and traffic matters.

Adam is admitted to practice in all State Courts in New York. He is also admitted in the U.S. District Court Northern District of New York and the U.S. District Court Southern District of New York. His admissions allow him to represent clients in both state and federal courts.

Adam’s legal experience includes serving as a founding member at O’Brien & Eggleston beginning in 2021. He also worked as an associate attorney at O’Brien and Wood, PLLC, and Anelli and Xavier, PC, building experience in criminal defense and courtroom litigation.

Adam completed internships at the Albany County District Attorney’s Office, Albany County Public Defender’s Office, and Rensselaer County Public Defender’s Office. These early roles provided experience in criminal law and helped lay the foundation for his defense practice and trial preparation skills.
