Aaron E. Silvenis

Aaron E. Silvenis is a partner at Cohen Lerner & Rabinovitz, P.C. whose practice focuses on intellectual property, business, and entertainment litigation. He represents clients in industries including software, telecommunications, electronic gaming, automotive, fashion, film, and music. Aaron works on disputes involving valuable business information, contracts, and competitive conduct, bringing litigation experience to matters that call for detailed technical understanding and persuasive legal arguments.

Aaron received a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Communications from the University of Michigan in 2007. He earned his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School in 2011, where he received a dean’s scholarship and participated in legal journal activities. As an American Antitrust Institute research fellow, he studied the competitive implications of the Ticketmaster and Live Nation merger.

Aaron has secured multimillion-dollar results and defended clients against claims seeking damages in the millions. He helped obtain the Michigan Court of Appeals decision in Planet Bingo v. VKGS, LLC, addressing common-law unfair competition claims and preemption under Michigan’s trade secrets law. Other matters involving his advocacy have addressed questions of corporate liability, arbitrability, and discovery sanctions. Before entering law practice, he worked in artist development for major record labels.
