Aaron earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa before completing his Juris Doctor at Ave Maria School of Law in 2012. He later pursued advanced training with an LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami’s Heckerling Program, one of the nation’s leading programs in tax and estate law.
Aaron draws on both legal expertise and former experience as a high school English teacher to deliver thoughtful, clear guidance. He listens closely to his clients, gaining a deep understanding of their objectives. Whether handling simple wills or complex succession plans, Aaron provides tailored solutions that balance financial prudence with personal values.
Before joining Nay & Friedenberg, Aaron led a boutique estate planning firm in Naples, Florida. His background in managing business succession and tax strategies gives him a practical edge when assisting families and business owners with future-focused legal planning.
Aaron is licensed to practice in Oregon and Florida. He is an active member of several sections of both state bars, including Estate Planning, Taxation, and Business Law. He also serves as Chair of the Albertina Kerr Foundation Board of Trustees, reflecting his commitment to community service.
