A.P. Pishevar

A.P. Pishevar is a Rockville trial attorney whose practice includes criminal defense, civil litigation, personal injury, appeals, business disputes, and regulatory matters. He has represented individuals and companies in cases involving DUI and traffic defense, constitutional issues, employment disputes, business litigation, torts, wrongful death, and other contested matters. Mr. Pishevar earned a B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park, where he studied Government and Politics with a minor in English Literature. He received a J.D. from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. During law school, he participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and received academic and advocacy honors. His education supports a practice requiring persuasive writing, oral advocacy, legal research, and analysis across criminal, civil, business, and appellate matters.

Mr. Pishevar began private practice in 1995 after working in civil and administrative litigation and completing clerkships with federal judges, legal aid, and the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office. He later held senior legal roles with technology and transportation companies, including chief legal officer and general counsel positions. His career has involved trials, commercial agreements, regulatory matters, investigations, intellectual property, employment issues, acquisitions, government relations, and the management of complex legal operations.

A.P. Pishevar is admitted in Maryland and Washington, DC, and before federal appellate and trial courts, including the US Supreme Court and Fourth Circuit. His work combines courtroom advocacy with business and regulatory experience developed across private practice and executive legal roles. He continues representing clients in Rockville on criminal and civil disputes while drawing on broader experience in transactions, compliance, technology, corporate strategy, and high-stakes legal problem solving.
