William Hommel Jr.

William Hommel Jr. is a seasoned trial attorney with more than 38 years of experience representing employees in complex employment law disputes. His practice centers on claims involving the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. Dedicated to protecting workplace rights, Mr. Hommel has earned a reputation for his relentless advocacy and deep understanding of employment litigation.

Mr. Hommel earned his B.B.A. in Accounting with honors from Baylor University, where he was named to the Dean’s Distinguished List and was active in national honor societies such as Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi, and Omicron Delta Kappa. He later received his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law, where he made the Dean’s Honor List and was treasurer of the Phi Delta Phi Law Fraternity. Mr. Hommel is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law, Personal Injury Trial Law, and Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization—a distinction that highlights his expertise and professionalism. Over his career, he has handled more than 100 jury trials, arbitrations, and appeals. He is admitted to practice before all Texas state courts and numerous federal courts, including the Fifth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals.
