Erica Eslinger

Erica Eslinger is a Board Certified family law attorney who focuses on guiding clients through the emotional and legal complexities of family law matters. She uses a mix of strong litigation tactics and strategic planning to protect her clients and help them move forward with strength and clarity. Erica is known for her thoughtful and assertive approach to courtroom advocacy.

Erica began her academic journey at the University of Kansas, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis in child and family psychology. This foundation provides Erica with a deeper understanding of the sensitive family dynamics present in many cases. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law, where she further developed her trial and advocacy skills.

Erica’s legal career began in immigration law, but she soon found her true calling in family law. She served as a Child Support Attorney for the State of Kansas and later became Supervising Attorney for the Kansas Department of Child and Families. Licensed in Texas, Kansas, Missouri, and before the U.S. Supreme Court, she has experience in a wide range of family law proceedings.

Since returning to Dallas in 2018, Erica Eslinger has focused solely on family law. She works closely with clients facing divorce, child custody disputes, support matters, and other family-related legal challenges. Her work has been recognized by multiple honors, including Super Lawyers Rising Star (2021–2024), D Magazine’s Best Lawyers Under 40 (2020–2024), and Best Lawyers in America’s “Ones to Watch” (2020 and 2021).

Erica is actively involved in professional organizations such as the State Bar of Texas Family Law Section, Dallas Bar Association, and Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists. Her board certification from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization reflects her commitment to excellence in her field. With deep knowledge and empathy, Erica remains dedicated to helping families build better futures.
