Elise M. Koletar

Elise M. Koletar is an associate attorney in the Employment Law and Litigation Groups at Saalfeld Griggs PC. She advises employers on workplace matters and civil disputes, helping businesses address legal challenges while maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Elise earned her J.D. from Willamette University College of Law in 2025, where she also received a Certificate in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. She previously earned a B.S. in Journalism and Communications from the University of Oregon in 2018.

Elise focuses her legal practice on employment law and litigation matters. She advises employers on drafting employee handbooks, employment agreements, and workplace policies designed to support compliance and effective employment practices within organizations.

Elise also assists clients in employment disputes and other civil litigation matters. Her work includes helping employers address legal conflicts and workplace issues while developing strategies that aim to resolve disputes and prevent future legal risks.

During law school, Elise served as a judicial extern for Judge Hellman at the Oregon Court of Appeals. This experience provided her with insight into the judicial process and helped strengthen her understanding of appellate review and legal decision-making.
