Anna L.C. Geigle

Anna L.C. Geigle is a distinguished attorney and Geigle | Morales, LLC member. She has extensive experience in criminal defense, civil litigation, personal injury, and civil rights law. Anna earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2007, graduating with honors as a prestigious Order of St. Ives member, recognizing her academic excellence. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Colgate University. Anna is licensed to practice law in Colorado and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.

Before entering private practice, Anna served as a Deputy State Public Defender in the Denver Trial Office. During her tenure, she handled over 3,000 cases, ranging from misdemeanors to severe felony charges, including homicide and sexual assault. Her trial experience includes over 50 cases tried to verdict, establishing her as a seasoned litigator in both state and federal courts.

Since moving into private practice in 2013, Anna has focused on defending clients in serious criminal cases, including post-conviction and death penalty matters. She also represents clients in personal injury and civil rights lawsuits, fighting to secure justice and fair compensation. Committed to giving back, Anna regularly provides pro bono legal services in partnership with organizations such as the Colorado Criminal Defense Institute.
