He grew up on a large family farm, worked in precision agriculture, and continues to serve the ag industry as an aerial applicator. That firsthand experience gives him a practical understanding of the pressures farm families face, from preserving land and minimizing conflict to structuring transitions that actually work in the real world.

Kole’s path to law was shaped by hardship and resilience. After surviving a serious plane crash during his career as a spray pilot, he turned his focus toward serving agriculture in a new way. He earned both his Juris Doctor and MBA from Drake University, along with certificates in business law and agricultural law, and built Midwest Ag Law to serve the people and industry he knows best.
